Subject Matter Expert:
Christian Pennington is a Lender Relations Specialist (LRS) in the Small Business Administration Boise District Office. Christian has been in the Boise District office for three years. A LRS trains and familiarizes lenders with SBA programs. LRS work to further the SBA mission of aiding America’s small business. In 2017 Christian was briefly detailed to SBA Disaster Assistance as a disaster loan analyst for Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma.
Prior to working with the SBA Christian worked at Louisiana Economic Development Corporation as a Loan & Investment Officer. He worked on various Louisiana state programs to aid financing to small business, and lending programs to recruit business to the state.
He has a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of New Orleans and is pursuing an MBA from Louisiana State University (Geaux Tigers beat Bama)
He has various certifications from the American Bankers Association, the Louisiana Bankers Association and the National Development Council.
