Assessor’s Office
The Salt Lake County Assessor is responsible for the equitable and fair assessment of all taxable properties in Salt Lake County. The Assessor annually determines fair market value for residential, commercial, and other taxable property in Salt Lake County. At this session you can ask how tax rates are set for your property, where your property tax money goes, or what to do if you disagree with the market value placed on your property?
